Police, Coffee and Donuts oh My! - Police Humor

Police are human two, here's a growing collection of funny stories and pictures I've dug up. Leading the laughter is a moment I lived during my second ride along with one of the local Police Departments by my house. Due to certain factors, the names of the officers have been changed.

Myself and Officer Hiker, whom I was riding with, go into the Squad Room to do some quick work on one of the computers. We were seated nearest the door, another computer and officer across the room behind us, and the Sergeant seated at the third computer off a short ways to our right. It's completely quiet in the room when Officer Turner behind us interrupts the productive tap of fingers on keyboards with the words:

Turner: "Hey, Hiker."
Hiker: "What the heck do you want?"
Turner: "How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?"
Hiker: "How the heck should I know?"
Turner: "Tentacles."

Dead quiet for a hundredth of a second, then everyone in the room, including the Sergeant, started laughing. It's one of the more memorable moments for me so far.

May I add that I have found in my experience, it's not necessarily the donuts Police enjoy, it's the coffee.

I'd call for backup as well! Shoot, I'd have every unit on duty plus the Chief.

I wonder if there is a training session for Florida cops where they learn to climb onto the tail or hood of their cars?
